Tabular is an email template builder, perfect for creating and managing transactional email templates. It offers an intuitive interface for creating email templates, and offers the ability to create custom modules and custom styles that you can reuse throughout all your templates. You can start by creating an email template from scratch or by using one of the transactional email templates that Tabular offers in their email template library.

Build responsive HTML email templates fast without coding skills, and use them directly in MailerSend with this integration. Tabular automatically generates responsive email HTML code that renders in the email client exactly like the design you create in Tabular's email template builder. Whenever you make updates to your email templates in Tabular you can directly overwrite the connected MailerSend template with the updated version via the integration.

How to use it

In MailerSend

  1. Navigate to Integrations > API Tokens. On this page you will have to click on Create new token.

  2. In the modal that opens, enter a name for the new token.

  3. We recommend to select Custom access under Permissions, and to only provide Full access to the Templates resource, since that is the only access that Tabular requires for the integration to work.

  4. Click on Create token

  5. Copy the token that is generated to your clipboard or temporarily store it somewhere. We will use this generated token in our next steps.

In Tabular

  1. Open the Tabular email you want to upload to MailerSend

  2. Click on Use email in the upper-right corner of the email builder

  3. From the modal that appears, click on the Integrations tab

  4. Select MailerSend from the available integrations options

  5. Give a name to your authorization

  6. Paste the MailerSend API token that you just copied to your clipboard from MailerSend into the corresponding input field

  7. Click Add authorization

  8. You now see your MailerSend authorization has been added to your list of authorized integrations

  9. Click on the Connect to button and select templates from the dropdown

  10. Tabular will now attempt to create an email template in your MailerSend account that uses the Tabular email template

  11. If the template record was created successfully, you will see that an item has been added to the Your email is currently connected to list

  12. From this list you can click on Upload email to upload any new versions of your email to the MailerSend template. This will overwrite the connected MailerSend template with the current Tabular version. You can also click again on Connect to > templates, to create a new MailerSend email template.
